Staff Bios

 

Welcome to Wee Babysit. We are proud to introduce our wonderful and experienced staff! Each of our staff members brings something very unique and special to our program and we are thrilled to share their stories. These are the people who make Wee Babysit a clean, fun, safe, and amazing place for your child to spend time. We look forward to meeting you in person!

 

Miss Rebecca Miss Rebecca -- Director
Miss Rebecca is the Director of Wee Babysit.  She is a Registered Nurse and a mother of three young children.  She is proud to provide the very best in child care services so that parents can always have peace of mind while they are away.  Rebecca coordinates all of the daily activities that take place at Wee Babysit (and we do a lot of activities!), and especially enjoys preparing new materials for arts & crafts projects.  Rebecca's own children are frequently in attendance at Wee Babysit and enjoy meeting all the new friends that come to play with them!     

Miss Barbara Miss Barbara – Co-Director
Miss Barbara is the Co-Director of Wee Babysit.   She holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 30 years of experience working with children of all ages.  Barbara loves music and can frequently be found leading the children in song and dance.  All of the children love Miss Barbara, and many of them even call her Grandma!  When she is not busy with the children, she works very hard to clean and sanitize every square inch of our immaculate play space!

Miss Pat Miss Pat
Miss Pat is a mother and grandmother with over 15 years of child care experience.  She is highly gifted in caring for children with special needs, and has previously spent ten years working at a school for special needs children.  Pat is also an experienced toddler teacher and the children love to climb into her lap at story time.  Pat is very creative and enjoys coming up with new ideas to keep the children engaged in fun learning activities.    

Miss Jaclyn

Miss Jaclyn
Miss Jaclyn is a graduate of Montclair University with a degree in Justice Studies and a minor in Sociology and Justice and Families.  She has worked at Wee Babysit since we opened in January of 2009 and is experienced with children of all ages.  Jaclyn is an expert on the Wii and the computer, and loves challenging the older children.  She is also our resident chef, and can expertly prepare snacks and meals in no time! 

Miss Melissa

Miss Melissa
Miss Melissa is a student at William Patterson University where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education.  She has three years of experience as an assistant teacher working with children of all ages. She enjoys making up new games for the children to play and is often seen running around the indoor playground with a group of little ones!  Melissa plans to one day become the director of a child care center.

Miss Alex Miss Alex
Miss Alex is a student at Seton Hall University where she is majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education.  She has completed several internships working with kindergarten, fourth grade and special education students.   Alex is also an experienced caregiver for infants and toddlers and loves making the children smile and laugh.  Alex will complete her student teaching next spring and plans to pursue a career in special education.  

Miss Jessica

Miss Jessica
Miss Jessica is a student at William Paterson University where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education. She has over three years of experience working with and caring for young children.  Miss Jessica loves to interact with the children on their level, involving them in all kinds of fun activities.  She also enjoys teaching the children new things.

Miss Rachel Miss Amanda 
Miss Amanda is a student at William Paterson University where she is working on her degree in Elementary Education.  She has been babysitting for over ten years and is passionate about becoming a teacher.  She loves playing with the children, whether it is pretend house, dress-up, or especially arts & crafts.  After Amanda teaches for awhile, she would one day like to have her own child care center! 

Miss Brittany Miss Brittany                                                    
Miss Brittany is a student at William Paterson University where she is studying Elementary Education. She has over five years of experience working with children of all ages. Miss Brittany loves working with children individually as well as in groups. She enjoys reading to the children and leading them in music and movement. Brittany aspires to become an educator in an elementary school.
